 About Marie Mew Marie Mew is a very experienced medium on all levels, one-2-one reading, platform, Trance, physical medium, spirit rescue medium, Reiki Master, Teacher and house clearance of unwanted spirits. Marie has always wanted to spread the word of the spirit, through her trance work she does this whenever she can, she wishes to prove beyond any shadow of a doubt that life goes on after the so called death, which is why she has open meetings for table tilting also known as table tipping and her spirit guide Sweep now allows people to come to the physical circle to see him fly the trumpet. She hopes that soon people will be allowed to come to the physical circle to see full materialisation of their loved ones. Marie opened the centre in Oct 2009 and started out renting a hall but soon moved into a full time building in July 2010, the building itself is a Sunday school building. Marie’s eldest son went to Sunday school in this building. Marie realised that many people needed help with mediumship development. Healing, cancelling, grief and much more so the answer was a full time centre. People including medium’s have told her she must be mad to spend the sort of money which has been spent plus the hours per week she and others put in, but Marie says it’s all worth every penny and every minute. Marie is happy to do private one to one mediumistic/clairvoyant readings linking into spirit and passing communication from loved ones. Marie is a teacher/tutor of mediumship. She is also a rescue medium and is happy to help anyone with troubled or unwanted spirits in their homes. Marie has many years experience on platform, she works the south-east church circuit.Her ambition has always been to serve every Spiritualist church and centre in the UK. The churches and centre she does serve she is well liked, everyone falls in love with Sweep who is her spirit guide. Marie still believes that mediums should serve for their travelling expenses only which she sets at 25p a mile return. For long distances she makes up her income with private readings and trance sittings, to be arranged by the church or centre she is serving. Marie is a very good teacher of mediumship and her workshops are well worth attending either at Sweep's school of Mediumship she is founder member of or she will come to your church or centre to do a workshop. 
Sweep Sweep works with Marie on communication. He is always about even when Marie isn't working. He likes to chat. He first made himself known to Marie in circle in the early 80’s, the circle named him Sweep because he doesn’t like his real name. He tells anyone who will listen that he lived at the time of Jack the Ripper. He also tells Marie that they walked the earth plain at the same time; this is often the case with mediums and their guides. Marie was once regressed and recognised Sweep. Marie was a witness to one of the Rippers murders which is something that she doesn't like to think about. Sweep was, as his name,suggests a chimney sweeps boy. His age has been put to be between 10 and 12 years old, and he lived on the streets of London, stole to eat who slept with the horses on a hessian sack filled with straw.. He's never worn shoes and doesn't like Marie to wear them when he entrances her. He looked after a little girl Joanna. She wasn’t his sister; she just latched on to him. She died of diphtheria, but Sweep doesn’t call it that he says the s***t’s. He passed a short time later also with the s***t’s. When he woke up on the other side he wouldn’t believe he was dead because he could still think and feel. Joanna came to greet him, but he kept sending her away, he thought she was a ghost. Some time passed and he tried to continue normal life, he couldn’t understand why people wouldn’t talk to him, not even his old boss The Sweep. He was upset when he found a new boy was being sent up his chimneys.. So when Annie (his name for Joanna) as he called her came back he decided to listen to what she had to say. She told him that he had died and he needed to go with her to decide what he was going to do next, so he did. He found himself in front of his life on earth much like a mirror “The mirror of life “he calls it. He was shown where he did well and where he’d not done so well. He was told he could go back to the earth plain and try again. He asked “can I 'ave me barra and me cap?” “No” because when you go back you will be forward in time. “I aint doing ‘hat.” he said. He was told there is another way? Be a spirit guide. “A wot?” he asked. A spirit guide. You would be able to learn with the person by their mistakes”. This took some thinking about and much time passed. He decided to give it a go, and he was paired up with Marie, however it was some time before Marie recognised him as a spirit guide. *****
 CHI
Chi is a great philosopher for the spirit world. He also entrances Marie to bring his words of wisdom to the churches and centres.
Great Grandmother Lambert. She passed to spirit when Marie was about 6 years old. She comes to Marie’s circle with help and advice, she commands respect. In her younger days she was in service so she knows what it is like to take orders. She says mediumship is no different today, however she says she was never called a medium. She calls herself an instrument for the spirit world. In her day it was illegal to work in this way and you could be arrested so it wasn’t something everyone knew about. *****
Sister Angela Sister Angela is Marie’s life long
guide and friend. She has been known to Marie forever, always coming close in times of stress and healing.
She also works through Marie in a trance state to bring philosophy by way of teaching.
She says she locked herself away in a silent order to serve God,
but failed to learn earthly lessons there.
She became a spirit guide to learn through Marie’s life experiences.

Running Water is an Indian chief who is big and very powerful. When he comes he is very clear and strong. He works with Marie in circle and often talks through her in trance, but not often in public. He does like the physical side of mediumship. He also works with other mediums. ***** |
